She summoned the army commander of Israel named Barak the son of Abinom from Kedesh in the Naphtali

She revealed to him how God directed him to select Isrealites soldiers, ten thousand from the tribe of Naphtali and Zebulum and assembled them at mountain Tabor.

Sisera, Jabins army commandewr will meet you by the River Kishon with his war chariots and troops inspite all these barak demanded for the assistant of Debora, she obliged but let him know that if they won that honor and respect due for him will be shifted for woman and he agreed.

A particular man named Heber the Knite had separated from, the descendants of Hobab, the father-in-law of Moses, and pitched as far away as the Oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.

Meanwhile, when Sisera heard that Barak the son of Abinaam had gone  to mount Tabor and he called out his nine hundred chariots of iron and all the men from his place Harosheth-ha-goiim.,

When the intensified Sisera left his chariot fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite. The woman offered to protect him inside her room, she covered him with Rug. When Siseria begged her water, she gave her milk when he was about to sleep, he asked her to watch over for him, when he fell asleep, Jael took a Tent peg into his temple and he died.

When Barak came in pursuit of Siseria, Jael went out and  called him to come see whom he had being pursing
